The Cavico Industry and Minerals Joint Stock Company is a young member of Cavico Vietnam founded by other developed affiliates namely the Cavico Bridge and Tunnel JSC, Cavico Hydropower JSC, VIMICO. The company operates in the field of minerals exploitation and processing industry, which have very high potentials. With a view to enhancing products’ value, Cavico SM has invested modern equipment for minerals exploiting and processing. It’s running a white mineral (CaCo3) quarry with reserves of over 40 million tons in Nghe An, which will work in 30 years. The company is building a series of plants including one for super fine stone powder production with an annual capacity of 24,000 tons in Nam Cam, Nghe An.
