The business performance in Quarter 1/2023 strongly grew compared to Quarter 1/2022 mainly due to the following causes:
- In the Quarter 1/2023, Vietjet carried out 31.3 thousand flights and transported 5.4 million passengers, the increase of 57% and 75% compared to Quarter 1/2022.
- Vietjet opened 10 new routes, including 4 domestic routes and 6 international routes, bringing the total number of routes at the end of the Quarter 1/2023 to 55 domestic routes and 50 international routes.
- Cargo transportation reached more than 14.8 thousand tons, the increase of 20% compared to Quarter 1/2022.
- Air transport reached VND 12,880 billion, the increase of 286% compared to Quarter 1/2022.
- Air transport gross profit reached VND 1,081 billion, the profit after tax reached VND 168 billion, the increase of 320% compared to Quarter 1/2022.
