Data from the Vietnam Bond Market Association revealed that in May, the whole market saw 42 separate bond issuances totaling VND46.77 trillion ($1.78 billion).

Real estate businesses issued seven separate bond lots with a total value of over $10.5 trillion ($403.5 million) in May,  the Vietnam News Agency has quoted the Vietnam Bond Market Association(VBMA) as reporting.

Of which, Vingroup led the pack, issuing three batches totaling VND6 trillion ($22.9 million). 

Other issuers in May included Viet Minh Hoang Construction and Real Estate Investment JSC, with VND3.47 trillion  (over $133 million); AAC Vietnam JSC, with VND500 billion (nearly $19.2 million), Song Phuong Industry - Real Estate and Construction LLC, with VND388.5 billion (nearly $14.9 million), and Van Phu Real Estate Development JSC, with VND150 billion (over $5.7 million).

VBMA data also revealed that in May, the whole market saw 42 separate bond issuances totaling VND46.77 trillion ($1.78 billion). The banking sector continued to lead the market, accounting for $28.72 trillion ($1.09 billion) in bond issuance.
