Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank explained the movements of profit after tax compared to the same period according to the financial statements in Quarter 4/2022 as follows:

Profit after tax of Quarter 4/2022 was 1,519 billion dongs, increased by 15.6% compared to the same period of 2021.

Reason:

Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2022 reached 1,519 billion, increased by 205 billion dongs (equivalent to 15.6%) compared to Quarter 4/2021. In which, net interest income contributed mainly to Quarter 4/2022 with the result of 2,780 billion dongs, decreased by 30 billion dongs compared to the same period of 2022 due to the increase in the deposit interest rate at year-end 2022. In addition, net profit from service activities reached 816 billion dongs, increased by 326 billion dongs compared to Quarter 4/2021. Foreign exchange activities reached 80 billion dongs, decreased by 180 billion dongs compared to the same period of last year.
