The Board of Directors of Gia Lai Electricity Joint Stock Company approved to announce a record date for the 2021 dividend payment as follows:

−        Record date: June 17, 2022

−        Purpose: to make the 2021 dividend payment

−        Issue ratio: 100:6 (those who own 10 shares will receive 01 new share) 

−        Plan to deal with fractional shares: The shares newly issued to shareholders will be rounded down to units. The fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled.

For example, on the record date, shareholder A owns 222 shares. Shareholder A will receive: 222 x 100:6 = 13.32 shares. After rounded down, the real number of shares shareholder A receives will be 13 shares. The fractional part (0.32) will be cancelled.
