Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) announced the resolution of General Meeting of Shareholders dated December 05, 2021, which was convened in the form of collecting shareholders’ written opinions. Accordingly, the shareholders approved the plan for raising the charter capital in 2021 by issuing shares to pay dividends from the retained profit accumulated until 2019 and the profit after tax, after fund distribution and cash dividend payment in 2020.
1) Plan for raising the charter capital by issuing shares to pay dividends:
- Current charter capital: VND40,220,180,400,000.
- Estimated increased capital: VND10,365,220,360,000.
- Charter capital after the share issue: VND50,585,400,760,000.
- Estimated issue volume: 1,036,522,036 shares
- Issue ratio: 25.77119312% of the outstanding volume.
- Exercise ratio: 100: 25.77119312
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The shares newly issued to shareholders will be rounded down to units. The fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled.
- Issue time: in 2021 – 2022.
2) All newly-issued shares will be registered to deposit at the Vietnam Securities Depository and list on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange.
