On March 26, 2020, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Decision No.131/QD-SGDHCM to put the stock of Viet Nam – Italy Steel Joint Stock Company (stock code: VIS) into supervision status because the Company’s profit after tax was -326.2 billion dongs in 2018 and -218.7 billion dongs in 2019, according to the audited financial statements in 2018 and 2019. 

According to the reviewed financial statements for the first six months of 2020, VIS’ after-tax profit was -16,487,186,720 dongs, and the undistributed after-tax profit until June 30, 2020 was – 561,455,863,180 dongs.

Therefore, HOSE will remain the supervision status for VIS shares and will consider solutions for VIS shares after having the 2020 audited financial statements.
