On March 31, 2017, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) issued Decision No.90/QD-SGDHCM to put the stock PXI of Petroleum Industrial & Civil Construction Joint Stock Company under the supervision status because the auditor gave except-for opinions on the 2012 financial statements leading the Company’s profit to be negative. Besides, PXI’s after-tax profit in the 2016 audited financial statements was -14,534,040,215 dongs.
On August 04, 2020, HOSE received the semi-annual reviewed financial statements from PXI. Accordingly, the after-tax profit was -20,116,335,208 dongs and the undistributed after-tax profit at June 30, 2020 was -63,580,094,881 dongs. At the same time, in the audited financial statements, there are still outstanding except-for opinions from previous years, affecting the business results of the Company.
Therefore, HOSE will remain the supervision status for the stock PXI.
