HDB: Planning to raise its charter capital

The Board resolution dated November 03, 2020, the BOD of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank approved the stock issuance to raise capital with the following details:

1)      Approving to raise its charter capital for the second phase in 2020 from VND 12,707,763,650,000 up to VND 16,088,488,180,000.

2)      Approving to carry out the plan for stock dividend payment to raise its charter capital for the second phase in 2020:

-          Stock name: Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank

-          Stock code: HDB

-          Stock type: common share

-          Par value: 10,000 dongs

-          Number of shares issued: 1,270,776,365 shares

-          Number of outstanding shares: 1,255,694,843 shares

-          Number of treasury shares: 15,081,522 shares

-          Number of preferred shares: 0 share

-          Number of shares expected to be issued: 338,072,453 shares

-          Exercise ratio: 26.923138%, equivalent to 35% (shareholder who owns 100 shares will receive 26.923138 new shares)

-          Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to dozen, the fractional shares due to rounding down will be donated to the Union of HDBank.

-          Time of implementation: expected in December 2020.

3)      Approving to register to deposit at the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) and list on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) for new shares.
