Vietnam earned 10.17 billion USD from exports in the first half of June, raising the total earnings from January to June 15 to 111.26 billion USD, reported the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

 

According to the department, imports in the first half of June were 9.69 billion USD, bringing in a total import of 111.193 billion USD in the January-June 15 period, resulting in a trade surplus of 500 million USD.

 

Earnings exceeding 1 billion USD in the first 15 days of June were recorded in three groups of goods, namely, telephone and accessories with 1.71 billion USD; computers, electronics and accessories with 1.42 billion USD; and apparels with 1.401 billion USD.

 

With the figures, telephone and accessories raked in 21.43 billion USD, computers, electronics and accessories obtained 13.97 billion USD, and apparels earned 13.58 billion USD so far this year.-VNA
