Reference exchange rate up 9 VND on April 24

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,013 VND per USD on April 24, up 9 VND from the previous day (April 23).
 
With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is 23,703 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,322 VND/USD.
 
The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed stable. 
 
As of 8:15 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 23,165 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,265 VND/USD, unchanged from April 23. 
 
Techcombank also kept both rates unchanged at 23,145 VND per USD (buying) and 23,265 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
