On October 01, 2019, the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security worked with the Management Board of Petro Capital & Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (Petroland) to determine the workplace of Mr. Bui Minh Chinh and execute a search warrant.

On October 02, 2019, the Ministry of Public Security of Socialist Republic of Vietnam posted on the website the information on the decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, detention order, search warrant for Mr. Bui Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroland, Former Director of Petroland, as from October 01, 2019.

However, Petroland has not received any official documents from the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the case of Mr. Bui Minh Chinh. The information Petroland received is unofficial information through press and media. Petroland will disclose official information as soon as receiving them.
