Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (VCB) explained the financial statements in the third quarter of 2019 as follows:

-     The separate profit after tax of Q3.2019 increased by VND 2,046 billion (equivalent to 70.06%) compared to the same period last year due to the profit before tax increased by VND 2,571 billion (equivalent to 70.73%) compared to the same period last year. The reason for the increase is due to the following main items:

+ The increase in income from service activities;

+  The increase in net profit from foreign exchange;

+ The increase in income from securities investment.

-     The consolidated profit after tax increased by VND 2,113 billion (equivalent to 71.92%) compared to the same period last year due to the profit before tax increased by VND 2,643 billion (equivalent to 72.08%) compared to the same period last year. The reason for the increase is due to the following main items:

+ The increase in income from service activities;

+  The increase in net profit from foreign exchange;

+ The increase in income from securities investment;

+ The increase in income from other activities.
