Reference exchange rate rises 9 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on January 22 at 22,879 VND/USD, up 9 VND from the previous day.
 
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is 23,564 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,194 VND/USD.
 
The opening hour rates at commercial banks continued to stay stable. 
 
Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 23,155 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,245 VND/USD, unchanged from January 21.
 
Both rates at Techcombank also remained unchanged at 23,135 VND/USD (buying) and 23,245 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
