The Nawaplastic Industries, an affiliate of Thailand’s SCG Group, on Friday successfully bought 29.51 per cent of stake of Bình Minh Plastics Company (BMP), or 24,159,906 shares worth more than VNĐ2.33 trillion (US$102.35 million).
The shares have a reference price of VNĐ96,500 each.
The trading has bought the Nawaplastic Industries’ total ownership at BMP to 49.91 per cent of the stake.
The auction was held by the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), which owns over 29.5 per cent of stake at BMP.
At the auction, there were two participants including the Nawaplastic Industries and an individual.
The Nawaplastic Industries has ordered the lot at the reference price, but gave away 20,000 BMP shares to an individual. — VNS
