Reference exchange rate goes up 9 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on January 10 set the daily reference exchange rate for VND/USD at 22,425 VND/USD, up 9 VND as compared to the previous day. 
 
With the current trading band of /-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,094 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,758 VND/USD. 
 
Vietcombank and Vietinbank kept the buying and selling rates unchanged at 22,675 VND/USD and 22,745 VND/USD. 
 
BIDV also listed the buying rate at 22,675 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,745 VND/USD, both down 5 VND from a day earlier.-VNA
