The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,443 VND/USD on the morning of March 27, down by 12 VND from a day ago.
With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,121 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,777 VND per USD.
Almost all major commercial banks remained their rates unchanged.
Vietcombank and Vietinbank respectively offered their rates at 22,760 VND (buying) and 22,830 VND (selling) per USD; and 22,676 VND (buying) and 22,746 VND (selling) per USD, unchanged from March 26.
Meanwhile, BIDV raised its rates by 15 VND to 22,775 VND (buying) and 22,845 VND (selling) per USD.-VNA
