Two bourses suddenly slump in last session of this week

The two indexes suddenly dropped by the end of the session because of offloading pressure. The VN Index returned to threshold of 450 points.

After the first trading session, the index of Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) dipped 0.2 point or 0.04 percent to 463.48 points with total trading volume of over 3.3 million shares worth 79 billion dong.

Most of the large cap share codes dropped to competitive prices.

The declining trend continued in the continuous matching order session. The VN Index sharply fell by 8.68 points or 1.87 percent to 455 points. After that, VN Index kept losing points quickly, especially in the last 15 minutes of today session.

At closing time, the VN Index reduced by 12.29 points or 2.65 percent to 451.39 points with total matching order trade of 51.79 million shares for 1.292 trillion dong in value.

Among the listed share codes and fund certificates, there were 212 codes climbing down, only 26 codes gaining points and 21 codes standing still. Those blue chips of BVH, SSI, PVD, PVF, and KBC witnessed the flooring prices while the gainers were DVD, BTT, VNH, NBB, TDC, VPH and VOS.

Similarly, on the northern floor, the HNX Index plunged by 5.09 points or 3.74 percent to 131.15 points with total market trade of 57.79 million shares for 1.369 trillion dong.
