The measure dropped 0.69 points, or 1.5%, to 45.45,
nearing the all-time low of 45.22 points created last Friday.
The measure was created on June 24 at a starting base
benchmark of 100 points but has never exceeded it.
Trading volume fell by more than two thirds to
208,000 shares valued at VND2.96 billion.
According to FPT Securities, six stocks advanced, 13
stocks declined, three stocks closed flat and 27 issues closed without
any trade.

Company (DGT) floated 2.5 million shares on the least favorite market in
Vietnam but the new listing was shunned by investors.
TNM made the biggest value gains of VND600, closing
at VND7,500. In the downswing, MAS dropped VND2,200 to VND23,000.
APS was the most active stock on a trade of 83,000
shares, which closed down VND100 to VND12,600.
Foreign investors picked up 3,000 HIG shares.
