The measure dropped 0.65 points, or 1.39%, to 46.14.
Last Friday, the gauge added nearly 3.5%.
The measure was created on June 24 at a starting base
benchmark of 100 points but has never exceeded it.
Trading volume multiplied to 736,000 shares valued at
VND10.11 billion.
According to FPT Securities, nine stocks advanced, 10
stocks declined, three stocks closed flat and 26 issues closed without
any trade.
ACE made the biggest value gains of VND1,400, closing
at VND18,400. In the downswing, HDO dropped VND2,200 to VND20,300.
VDS was the most active stock on a trade of 414,000
shares, which closed down VND100 to VND16,000.
Foreign investors did not trade any stocks today.
